This Privacy Policy outlines how Tonser collects, stores, processes, and protects your information. Tonser is developed by HKM Industries as a high-performance, privacy-conscious sports scorekeeping and match analytics application for Android.
01 // Architecture and Data Philosophy
Local-First Principles
Tonser is engineered on a local-first paradigm. Your match statistics, opponent details, game histories, and preferences remain on your physical device by default. We believe your sports metrics belong to you alone.
All core application functionality—including match tracking, head-to-head calculations, rating analytics, and data exports—operates entirely offline without requiring an active internet connection or user registration.

03 // Android Device Permissions
Permissions Required
The application requests only essential Android system permissions:
- android.permission.INTERNET: Required exclusively to verify application updates, fetch optional cloud sync configurations, and execute authenticated backups if enabled by the user.
- android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to monitor network connectivity status prior to attempting cloud synchronization, avoiding unnecessary battery drain.
- android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used on Android 13 and above to deliver optional in-app update notifications and match completion alerts. You can revoke this permission anytime via Android System Settings.
- android.permission.USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT: Optional biometric authentication to protect access to your private match logs on your device. Biometric templates never leave your device hardware enclave.
04 // Advertising and Analytics
Zero Advertising and No Third-Party Trackers
Tonser contains:
- NO third-party advertising networks or ad banners.
- NO invasive telemetry frameworks or behavioral profiling.
- NO selling, renting, or monetization of personal data to brokers or third parties.
05 // Third-Party Service Providers
Subprocessors and Infrastructure
When you choose to utilize online features (such as cloud backup or update checking), interactions occur with the following secure infrastructure providers:
- Google Play Services & Google Identity: Provides authentication via Credential Manager and secure distribution via the Google Play Store. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare Workers & R2 Storage: Serves signed application update manifests and encrypted cloud synchronization APIs. Governed by Cloudflare's Enterprise Security Standards.
06 // Data Retention and User Control
Retention and Deletion Rights
You retain complete control over all data created in Tonser:
- Local Data Deletion: You can wipe all local match histories, settings, and player caches at any time by clearing application data in Android System Settings or uninstalling the app.
- Exporting Data: Tonser supports exporting your complete match database to a portable JSON format at any time.
- Cloud Backup Purge: If you utilize cloud sync and wish to remove your cloud backups, contact our developer support team or use the account purge option inside application settings.
07 // Children's Privacy
Protection of Minors
Tonser is a general-audience sports scorekeeping tool and is not intentionally directed toward children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
